United family Mission is operated by volunteer Board of Directors in order to help eliminate hunger.
Advocating and promoting the rights of society’s most vulnerable members, from children to the senior citizens, to widows and single mothers, to the orphans and physically disabled, to the low-income families and the homeless individuals is our core vision at United Family Mission. Staying true to our mission and vision, being international with the population we serve, UFM advocate for change through a variety of means including;
Alongside conducting needs assessments, and offering them all support with inspirational counseling and helping to influence the regulations that adversely affect vulnerable and disadvantaged members of society, where necessary.
UFM has provided food and water to more than 45,000 Vulnerable population both locally and internationally. We are supporting children at risk of hunger and farmer’s to increase their capacity so families in developing communities can put nutritious meal on their tables. UFM also helps provide nutrition education to eliminate the health risk of hunger.
Our community outreaches are organized to gain access to vulnerable populations and engage them in groups within their communities in order to bring about positive changes within the community and help develop initiatives that will solve some of the social problems identified by members of the community. (Meeting them where they are).
We meet them where they are, offer them a sense of hope, establish them in faith and showing the love of Christ to them all.
United family mission is a Maryland- USA based missionary organization. We were founded by Patience Oluremi Agbaje. We are entirely run by volunteers, for each mission we simply agree on a date, make travel arrangements, and then gather as many resources as we can to bring to the needy. We are working on building strong relationships with leaders in various countries.
Restore hope to the hopeless and create positive change for a better world
To provides food and clean water to the hungry and the most vulnerable, create lasting solution to hunger through empowerment, giving them hope by establishing them in Faith by showing the love of Jesus Christ.
Another pathway out of poverty is when individuals can lift themselves out of poverty and hunger. By giving people the tools to live a healthy and productive lives, we can help them lift themselves out of poverty.
– Teaching the vulnerable in the community how to become self- sufficient and enabling them to grow their own food by making resources available to farmers to increase production sustainably.
-Providing micro loans, financial education, entrepreneurial training and counselling, helping the people with limited resources access the opportunities they need to succeed.
Helping to secure the next generation by focusing on women and girls and to transform their lives. We know women and girls have a unique power to reshape societies. By touching this emotional chord within communities and investing in a woman’s health and empowerment will have a great effect in helping families, communities and even countries achieve a long-lasting benefit.
-Promoting women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to influence social change in their immediate community.
-Promote farming among women and making resources available to female farmers to increase production sustainably.
-Provide nutrition education to women and girls to eliminate the health risk of hunger.
– Educate and Counsel the women to make informed family planning decisions
-Enhance sex education and personal hygiene skills for girls.
We have a 3 year set of goals tagged “UNITED FAMILY 3-YEAR PLAN OF FAITH WITH ACTION” by continuing what has been started and expanding our reach and resources to other countries across the globe. We meet the hungry and vulnerable where they are, feed them, give them hope and establish them in faith by showing the love of Jesus Christ to them all.
In the year 2019, United Family Mission Carried out impactful outreaches across the DMV region in the United States of America reaching out to the homeless population with nutritious meals.
We are able to visit four(4) countries ( Nigeria, Togo, Sierra Leone and Liberia) with the help of our team of volunteers Accros the countries reaching out to the Orphans, disabled, widows and vulnerable population in general.
The success of Mission feeding 5000 was a divine and highly inspiring, and by the grace of God we are able to deliver and impacted a total of 6,384 vulnerable population in the USA and across African countries we visited, to the glory of The Almighty God.

In the year 2020, our set goal was to feed 10,000 vulnerable population. The outburst of the pandemic created increasing demand necessitating us to reach out to more shelters and the homeless individuals. We expanded from single facilities focused intervention to multiple drop off locations, enhancing our coverage to a maximum of six (6) shelters with over 300 packaged meals per outreach in 2020.
At the end of the year, we were privileged to feed a total of 7,799 homeless
Population in the DMV metropolitan area of the United States.
UFM team of volunteers in Africa also interacted and donated food items to 4,030 orphans and fed 2,879 school children in rural communities. The mission was a huge success, and we exceeded our set target by impacting a total of 15, 608 vulnerable population with an increase of 9, 224 from our 2019 beneficiaries.
In 2021, our set goal was to feed another 10,000 vulnerable population. At the end of the year, we were privileged to feed a total of 20,895 Vulnerable population locally and internationally.
UFM USA team fed 3409 homeless Population in the DMV metropolitan area of the United States.
UFM team of volunteers in Africa interacted and donated food items to 6, 195 orphans and fed 3771 school children in rural communities. The mission was a huge success, and we exceeded our set target.
In addition, a Bore-hole water project was completed within a rocky community in Ogun State Nigeria. The project benefits a community with a population of over 7000 inhabitants.
In the same year, Agricultural project was commissioned in Kigbai village, Bo district, Sierra Leone. The lifelong initiative is impacting over 500 individuals in the community.
We have targeted communities and shelters in the United States and highlighted communities with orphanages, early childhood, elementary schools in West Africa that are in need of our intervention methods. We will continue to live through our vision, mission, and values in order to reach a greater number of venerable people with each year of operation.
