The overall objective of our program is to improve food and nutrition security at community level, especially for the most vulnerable populations. The project purpose is to enhance the well-being of those with limited access to nutritious food. To support the government in achieving the desired impact on the reduction of chronic hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition.
UFM is determined and committed to play an active role in reducing poverty and fighting hunger amongst the underserved in our community. Staying true to our mission and vision, being intentional with the population we serve, UFM is ready and willing to advocate for change through a variety of means including organizing community feeding outreaches, groceries give away alongside conducting needs assessments, delivering food items to senior citizens, and offering them inspirational counseling.
- Provide nutritious meals to the homeless population in the community.
- Give away groceries to low-income families to support family resources and ensure their children have sufficient nutritious meals on the table.
- To help the older adults in our community to live longer, healthier, and be more independent.
